You might credit my persistence and dedication in everything I do to being the daughter of an Iraq War Veteran or the fact that I was born and raised right across the river from New York City. Regardless, the perfect way to describe exactly what my work ethic is like is though sharing my weight loss journey. Shortly after graduating from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design in May of 2020 with concentrations in Graphic Design and Advertising, I took my full-time job position as a Junior Graphic Designer at ArtSkills, Inc.
At ArtSkills, I was surrounded by people who lived life much different then how I was raised. My eyes were opened up to a world outside of my bubble. Being the absorbent sponge of a person that I am, I learned how moving your body a few minutes a day, controlling impulse eating, and paying attention to the kind of food you fuel your body with can change your life!  It took two years and a lot of commitment to loose over 60 pounds. It takes even more strength to keep it off!
I currently still work at ArtSkills. Over the almost 4 years of working with the company, I have been promoted from Junior Graphic Designer to Graphic Designer/Videographer/Social Media Content Creator. I have independently created a large variety of promotional, instructional, and social media video content. When creating the videos, I learn the product/craft in detail and record using multiple cameras. I am also accountable for set up and maintenance of equipment, lighting and sound, and editing footage in post-production using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Audition. In video down time, I also work on elements of production design such as coordinating content sourcing, pricing, and quality control of any product assigned as well as designing package and content art.
ArtSkills has a fast paced work environment where package design projects are frequently passed between multiple designers. In stating that, I am responsible for photo editing, creation of realistic project renders, and final production file tweaks on more then what is highlighted on my website.
I also work part-time at Birthright Brewing Company as a Graphic Designer/Social Media Manager and Server. I am trusted to run all social media platforms for the brewery as well as design can labels, menus, and event signage. I am also server at the brewery because 2 demanding design/social media jobs isn't enough!
Much like teaching myself the ways of eating clean, exercising consistently, and maintaining weight loss, I have excelled in my career. I have become an expert in time management and multi-tasking while still being able to have an eye for detail. I am accomplished in many programs in the Adobe Creative Cloud, digital photo, videography, and motion graphics. I am passionate about my career goals as in graphic design, advertising/marketing, social media content creator, videography, and motion graphics designer as well as my personal goals in health and fitness! I look forward to sharing my all of skills with the world!
